It is common for most of us to experience a sore neck from time to time. If you toss and turn while trying to sleep, or if your pillow is worn out and does not provide adequate neck support, you may occasionally wake up with a sore neck. For others, however, the phrase ‘sore neck’ is not occasional, but causes constant pain and discomfort. It can be far more debilitating than simply having slept wrong and waiting for the muscles to loosen up during the course of the day.
